We are very excited about our new geography tray, which spans over many different types of geography and offers a unique interactive approach to learn about landforms, cartography (maps) bodies of water, and many more possibilities!
This wooden tray allows your child to create maps and build landforms with sand, play dough, available wooden map pieces and anything you can imagine. The compass rose can be adjusted depending on whether the tray is used horizontally or vertically. A large list of wooden labels provide another opportunity to familiarize your child with the places and landforms they are learning about. These labels include landforms, states, continents, types of forests, oceans and more! (Plus we are happy to accommodate custom requests! Just ask) step your learning up a notch by creating 3D landforms and more by using kinetic sand!
While we will be adding to this set regularly, we are currently offering the following pre-made map pieces.
Continents- the continents set includes a laser marked and cut set of the 7 continents and the country border lines with seperate laser marked tags with the continent and ocean names.
US State map- the US state map includes the 50 states marked with their postal abbreviations. Please note due to the small size of several north eastern states, some pieces combine several states. Alaska's size has been reduced to allow the contiguous states to be larger.
